There is going to be an important meeting of the Goods and Services Tax Council. Today we tell you what things have been kept in zero tax slab.




New Delhi. Today is going to be an important meeting of the Goods and Services Tax Council. Various measures to increase GST collection will be considered in this meeting. Let us tell you what issues will be decided. There are currently 4 tax slabs in GST. There are 5% GST rate slabs, 12% GST rate slabs, 18% GST rate slabs and 28% GST rate slabs. Today we tell you what things have been kept in zero tax slab.

Milk, yogurt, cheese
, many items of everyday use are excluded from the purview of GST, things which are outside the purview of GST. They include butter milk, vegetables, fruits, bread, unpacked foodgreens, jaggery, milk, poultry, yogurt, lassi, unpacked cheese, unbranded flour, unbranded flour, unbranded gram flour, prasad, kajal, phoolbhari broom and salt. Apart from this, there is no GST on fresh meat, fish, chicken.


There is also no GST on children's work items and news papers, children's drawing and coloring books and education services. Apart from this, there is no tax on buying Khadi clothes from clay idols, news papers, Khadi stores.



Health Services The
government has also kept health services under Zero percent GST. These products are also 0% percent in scope - sanitary napkins, stones, marble, rakhi, sal leaves, wood sculptures, and handicraft items have zero percent GST.
